The History of Three Beans

In 2009, after years working in the trade, Jonny took a trip to the depths of Central America to better understand the origins of the industry and the lives of coffee farmers.

Returning to New Zealand in 2010, Jonny set out to create his own brand of coffee that could not only guarantee an excellent cup, but bestow a new level of knowledge on the origins of great coffee to discerning customers.

Continuing to keep in touch with the lives of coffee farmers, the Three Beans team recently travelled to South America to live on two unique coffee farms in Peru and Columbia that we have developed an on-going relationship with.
